Below, please find answers to some commonly asked questions about the event. If you have any additional questions, please send them to and a member of our team will respond as soon as possible.

When is the event?

MarTech will take place online Tuesday, October 6 through Thursday, October 8, 2020. Check out the agenda for specific start and ends times for each day.

Please note: All session times are in the Eastern Time Zone.

Those times don’t work for me! Are sessions being recorded?

Yes! All sessions will be available for viewing on-demand immediately following their live broadcast. You'll be able to access both live and on-demand sessions through the agenda beginning on Tuesday, October 6.

How long will I be able to watch on-demand sessions?

On-demand sessions will be available for viewing indefinitely.

How do I watch sessions?

Starting on October 6, each session on the agenda will include a "Watch Session" button. Click that button to enter that session's room.

If you're watching live, you will be taken into a virtual lobby until the session is ready to begin. Be sure to watch the video in the lobby for tips to make the most of your MarTech experience. You will be automatically taken into the session room at its designated start time.

If you're watching on-demand, you will bypass the lobby and be taken directly into the session room where you can watch and rewatch the session at your convenience.

How do I log in?

Visit the agenda to choose a session to watch. Click "Watch Session" to begin. You'll be prompted to log in before you enter the session room. (Note: "Watch Session" buttons will appear on the agenda as of October 6.) 

Do multiple sessions run at the same time? What if I miss something?

Yes — in any given time block, up to five sessions will run concurrently. Choose the topics that interest you most to customize your training experience. See the agenda for full session details and times.

Don't worry about missing anything! All sessions will be available for viewing on-demand immediately following their live broadcast.

Can I get a copy of the PowerPoint presentation?

Yes! Be sure to check out the "Dig Deeper" section in each session room to download a PDF version of the presentation (if available) and any other resources the speakers may offer.

Can I ask the speaker questions during the presentation?

Of course! Sessions are pre-recorded, and in most cases, the speaker will present during the initial broadcast to answer questions live. Use the chat window to the left of the video player to enter any questions or comments you may have. If a speaker is unable to join us live, he or she will receive a copy of your questions and follow up with you via email after the event.

Please note: This chat window will not be enabled during on-demand viewing. If you want to follow up privately with a speaker, click the Email Us button within the session room. 

Are there any other live networking opportunities?

Absolutely! Networking is a cornerstone of the in-person MarTech experience and we're thrilled to offer you several opportunities to connect with the community in this new, virtual environment.

  • Live Session Q&A: Each session room features a live chat window where you can post questions for the speaker, share comments about the presentation, and engage with other live viewers. It’s also the place to connect with a member of the MarTech team if you need technical assistance. (Sorry, this chat feature is not available during on-demand viewing.)

  • Networking Lounge: This event-wide chatroom is available during conference hours (1:00pm – 4:00pm ET). Click the Networking link at the top of your screen to get started.

  • MarTech Connect: Scheduling 1:1 video meetings with like-minded marketers has never been easier! Browse the registrant directory to identify fellow attendees with shared interests, send meeting requests, and manage your meeting schedule all in one place (more details below!).

These networking opportunities are available to all attendees, speakers, and sponsors. 

To safeguard your privacy, MarTech Connect is 100% opt-in. This helps us ensure that everyone in the registrant directory is open to the idea of connecting. 

To get set up with MarTech Connect, follow these simple instructions: 

  • Log in to your MarTech account here. (Reset your password if you do not have one or did not create one.)

  • Proceed to the “MarTech Connect” tab and follow the on-page instructions to join the directory.

  • Click “Continue” and navigate to the final confirmation page.

Once you’ve opted in, you can access the MarTech Connect directory at any time by clicking on the Networking link at the top of your screen. 

  • Use the directory to search for specific people or browse a list of fellow MarTech participants.

  • Send meeting requests to people you want to connect with — and keep an eye on your email inbox for requests from fellow attendees.

  • 15-minute virtual meetings can be scheduled between 8:00am – 9:00pm ET each day of the event.

  • Requests will come to the email address you used to register for MarTech.

  • Use the My Schedule feature within MarTech Connect to view all of your upcoming meetings!

What do I do if I can’t see the presentation or hear the speaker?

Try refreshing your browser. Ensure your speakers/computer audio is activated. If you’re hearing an echo, ensure that you don’t have multiple instances of the same session open. If you can’t see the entire session room on your computer, try modifying your screen zoom by clicking COMMAND and the – key (Mac) or CTRL and the – key (Windows). If the issues persist, use the chat window to the left of the video player (or email and we’ll do our best to assist you.

The video keeps cutting out. How can I fix it?

You’re likely experiencing a bandwidth issue -- use a hardwired Internet connection if possible. If the issues persist, use the chat window to the left of the video player (or email and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Can more than one person from my company attend?
